Watermelon Cuttin'LCHS is so appreciative of everyone's support not only during the historical fair, but for everything the community does for us all year. To show our gratitude, we decided to have a "Watermelon Cuttin'"!
The day was a ton of fun with "Heart Pine" playing some fine bluegrass and other music, homemade ice cream, and of course the watermelons! There were about 100 watermelons consumed! After the party, we decided to donate the extra watermelons to the East Alabama Food Bank.
If next year we have a watermelon sprout here and there, I think we know the cause!
