In 1967, Dr. Alexander Nunn and others formed a group that would promote Lee County History. In their own words, '...[S]omething unique to the southeast...'.

The society has a publication called Trails in History.

Currently we are showing the museum by appointment only.If you wish to visit, please contact our curator.
