Exibits for the Historical SocietyThe society has many great exibits and displays. The museum is made up of four buildings: the old trade center, the Ruth Purdy Speake cabin, the Taylor Whatley building, and the blacksmith building. Each one is very unique and features different items, such as turn of the century living in the old trade center or the frontier days in the cabin. Old Trade CenterThe trade center has a variety to show from the Victorian attire to the railroad mechanisms. This building is also where the society meets.

It has items pertaining to agriculture, mechanics, blacksmithing, dairy and many other areas. For more information click here. The Blacksmith ShopThe blacksmiths meet every second Saturday of the month
to hone their craft and share ideas.
